We hand roast premium quality coffee beans from selected farms in Africa, Central and South America, and Asia. All our coffees are 100% Arabica.
Our coffees are freshly roasted within the shop. We only roast in small batches, paying our utmost attention to every step of the process, specifically developed for each type of coffee.
We also sell a variety of simple but effective coffee-making equipment for home and the office, and award-winning teas and baked goods.
Coffee contains hundreds of aromatic and other compounds. Many of the compounds start forming aroma at a specific time and temperature during the roasting process. The flavour of each coffee type is different and is a reflection of various characteristics of the origin, including the variety, the climate and soil type of the farm.
If you are lucky, you might arrive in our shop in Teddington while coffee is being roasted.
It will be a unique and interesting experience to observe green coffee beans turning in the drum of the classic machine, changing to yellow, then cinnamon and finally the beautiful brown roasted coffee being dumped into the cooler giving out complex and delightful aroma.
