Coffee varietals are the various forms (actually subspecies) of coffee from around the world, which were derived by natural selection or through selective breeding. They differ in crop yields, resistance to diseases, are suited to grow in different environments, and differ in the quality of coffee they produce.
Many varietals of Arabica exist, but Typica and Bourbon are considered to be the first coffee varietals, and others are more or less products of these two.
Some of the best known varietals are:
- Typica

- Bourbon
- Caturra
- Catuai
- Catimor
- Mundo Novo
- Kent
- Geisha
- Peaberry
- Maragogype
- Pacas
